Feed My Starving Children Celebratory Packing Event August 8, 2015.

I like to start this blog by saying " Thank you God for your presence on my packing event"

Thank you each and everyone of you who have sacrified their time, knowladge and resources for my event and project.

I also, like to extend my humble thanks to Governor Mark Dayton, Mark Crea, Katie Olson, my team, Gary Young, Dr Warner, Mrs Sandau, Mrs Shaheen, George and Kurt from FMSC, and Mrs Furney.

On August 8, 2015 at FMSC Eagan Campus , 97 people packed 108 boxes, which made 23,328 meals, at a cost of $5,132, and will feed 64 kids a hot meal every day for a whole year.

FMSC food contains 20 vitamins and one meal will sustain 6 children for an entire day.

When a starving child begins to eat FMSC food, it takes around 4 months for that child to began to feel energized, and it takes about a year for that child to come back 100%. This is why FMSC program typically stays with an organization for at least a year. It would do no good just to give the kids one meal, because then tomorrow the kids would again be hungry.

1 in 9 people go to bed hungry every night throughout the world. In many cases, they are not going to bed hungry because they missed dinner. In many cases, they haven't eaten for sometimes 2 or 3 days.There is no reason for this because there is enough food on our planet to feed everyone. It just isn't evenly distributed.
