After my "book mark for help" project. I wanted to help in a big way so I asked my mother which is the next project I should choose to help many many people specially kids. My mother said "projects should come from your own ideas" but she suggested me to research Feed My Starving Children’s' website so I google FMSC website. Boy!! I learned a lot. Did you know that 6.9 million kids under age 5 die each year in developing countries? 1/3 of the people die due to malnutrition and hunger-related diseases. 6,200 children die each day from hunger. When I saw this information, my heart cried and I decided that I will be helping people by feeding them. I am still unsure how to do all that so I went my mother again and share all the information I learned, she was very pleased with me. Same night we choose to help a village of 100 people for one year that means fundraising for $8030. It was big decision and big goal, my mother did ask me if I am ready for big task, she also suggested to go with feeding a family first but I said “mother you told me that I could reach for the star”, she smiled and said “I did encourage you to go big.” Later on, I named our project “reach for the Stars in you”.
