Ms. Pirani s one of 340 young leaders across the country awarded a $500 Disney Summer of Service grant to organize projects to help make their communities healthier, greener and stronger. Grantees will educate and mobilize their peers around the issue of poverty, creating solutions through awareness, service, advocacy, and philanthropic activities.

Sanya Pirani and her team (Team includes: Hidden Oaks student council students, Jeffers Pond elementary students Sanya, Sofia, Andrea, Mathew A, Harrison, Amelia, Ella, Ian, Hayley, and Mathew have now joined her team. we also have Mary Grace, Ella H, Annie M, Anna M, Hayley C, and Mary S from St. Wenceslaus Catholic School. A number of students from Prior Lake National Honor society have also joined in as volunteers).
